What is e-citizen?
Launch of the new look e-citizen Forum

What is e-citizen?

To tie in with the launch of e-citizen 'live', the e-citizen forum has been given a new look and feel! www.e-citizen.gov.uk is your 'one stop shop' for information and assistance on driving take up of e-services and now is even quicker and easier for you to use!

With over £4 billion already invested by local authorities in e-Government infrastructure, accessibility to local councils and government agencies through a range of e-channels is improving. As the 2005 deadline for councils to have services online approaches, the e-citizen project has begun its work to shift the e-Government agenda into top-gear, helping local authorities to increase take-up by raising awareness of the services available through the broad range of e-channels including web, email SMS and Digital TV.
